It is with great pride that I announce that the official launch of the PhillysideArts.com website will be this week! The website will officially be live so that you may go, explore and enjoy.
A great deal of effort has been put into the website by each individual artist, organization and our web programmer. Please feel free to use their contact information provided on the website to give them feedback about their art.
Information about our first contest will be provided soon, but in the meantime, let’s all get together and celebrate! The Phillyside Arts Launch Party will be held Saturday, June 24th starting at 6pm with the inaugural presentation at 7pm. Come join us on the 1100 block of South Bodine in South Philly. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided, and we will also be setting up a display area for our contributing artists to bring and display their art! (If you are a contributing artist, please contact me in advance if you want to display your art. A follow-up email to artists will follow.)
Thank you to everyone who has helped bring Phillyside to life. Remember, there is no limit to talent, only the time and resources used to develop it.
