Sober girl: I don't dance.
Drunk guy: I think you're hot.

Kid #1: Paper beats rock. BAM! Your rock is blowed up!
Kid #2: "Bam" doesn't blow up, "bam" makes it spicy. Now I got a SPICY ROCK! You can't defeat that!

I am not smoking. I am trying not to leave the house/room unless I have to. If I leave, then I will go to the store and buy smokes. This is fun!

so i was on the bus today.

the bus driver had stopped and was starting up again.

this big old truck started to back up and the bus had to stop short.

"oh snap", yelped the bus driver.

to the amusement of the lady waiting to get off a the next stop.

who giggled b/c this big old bus driver said oh snap.

she kept reapeating it till she got off.

val is probably the only one who will actually appreciate this...

It is salaried, so if they don't have any place to send me, I get to sit at home and get paid to do nothing. They even allow me to keep all frequent flyer points and stuff that I acrue while staying at hotels and renting cars and stuff. Eh? What do you's people think?

So Todd, this is that awesome story by Cory Doctorow. I highly recommend listening to this podcast/story read by the author. Like I said before, all of Cory's work is the kind of sci-fi that seems all so plausible.

This mural is no longer
While driving up Broad St. to work today, I noticed that the mural featured above had some suspicious looking equipment poised to tear down the abandoned building it was painted on.
